Beyonce Knowles' Maternity Line in the Making

Leave it to Beyonce Knowles to make pregnancy look fashionable! When she exposed her baby bump at the VMA's I felt so happy for her. Nothing is more beautiful than a woman who confidently rocks her pregnancy and truly radiates love for her unborn child. As I was in my moment of aw and happiness for her, I asked myself....."Why in the hell did I not look that hot during my pregnancies?!"

I think I have the answer to that question. BECAUSE MOST MATERNITY LINES TRY TO DRESS US LIKE CHILDREN! As if over sized bows are suddenly a must have by pregnant women everywhere. WE ARE HAVING A CHILD, NOT TURNING INTO ONE!

During my pregnancies I found it difficult to find clothing that would still allow me to feel young, fashionable, and don't forget sexy. I tried to channel my inner Beyonce, but had to settled on plus size clothing. I thought it was a great option until I constantly found myself pulling up my overly-sized falling straps, or pinning the bust of my blouse to my bra for a more secure fit (I had a few "uh ohs"). I'm sure plenty of mothers can relate with my maternity wardrobe mishaps.

Soon pregnant women everywhere (well, almost everywhere) will be able to rejoice! According to various websites, Beyonce Knowles is coming to the rescue with her very own maternity line! OK, so a pregnant celebrity designing a new maternity line is not surprising. However, have you seen the prices on most of these lines! Beyonce's House of Dereon line is not known as the most inexpensive brand out there, but at least it is obtainable for most of us.

Hummmm.... I wonder how long it will be before Beyonce decides to add a postpartum collection? Or maybe she'll take advantage of the weight loss opportunity and dish out a few fitness DVDs. Why not, she is a mogul after all!
